Manufacturing process
Our company "MTX-Technology" Ltd. - under the trademark "Mettax" produces metal furniture and metal products through the complete production cycle, from sheet metal processing to finished production. Therefore, product quality control is carried out at each stage of production, in our factory testing laboratory and on test benches. We are equipped with advanced equipment and use advanced technology, which allows us to create products of the highest quality.
Design development is the first and key stage in furniture production. This stage includes research, market and trend analysis, conceptual design, 3D modeling, engineering analysis and preparation for production. All of this is accomplished by our team of designers and creative designers.
The punching and forming process on a punch press is a sequence of operations from material preparation to the removal of the finished product. In the material preparation stage, the thickness of the sheet and the tool are automatically measured, the necessary parameters are set to create the required holes or dies. Programmable punching of the material is then produced by CNC-controlled punching pressure. After completion of the operation, the products are removed from the press and undergo quality control. The entire fully automated punching and forming process ensures accuracy, speed and efficiency in the production of various products.
In our furniture factory, each piece goes through the sheet metal bending phase using specialized bending presses. This process not only ensures the precision and high quality of each part, but also allows us to create custom shapes and configurations. After that, each piece is tested on our measuring bench.
In the production of metal furniture, the quality of welded seams plays a crucial role, as they provide strength, durability and aesthetic appearance of the finished products. Laser welding is a highly efficient method that provides smooth, clean seams with minimal defects, such as pores or cracks. This welding method uses a concentrated laser beam to melt and join materials, ensuring high strength and weld accuracy.
Surface preparation using the immersion method in standard bathtubs with BASF technology. Surface treatment prior to powder coating is a critical part of the process and, in many cases, has a more significant impact on the quality and service life of the final product than the coating itself.
The objective of this stage is to obtain a perfectly clean and grease-free metal, with the application of a special nanotechnology-based protective coating, which significantly increases the adhesion of the powder coating and directly affects the aesthetic characteristics, durability and protective properties of the finished product.
It includes the following stages:
Degreasing and cleaning.
Removal of corrosion products or oxides.
Rinse
Conversion treatment with protective coating.
Final treatment and washing with demineralized water.
Drying.
These steps provide an effective surface preparation, which allows to achieve a better coating quality and to ensure the durability and protection of the products against corrosion and other adverse effects.
The powder coating stage is an important link in the manufacturing process of metal furniture or other metal products.
